PorterBase Cart Sync reads a vendor cart in your browser and turns it into an In Cart purchase order, so parts, quantities, and prices are never retyped.
Requires a PorterBase account. Works on supported vendor sites in Chrome.
No retyping
Build a cart on a vendor site the way you normally would. Cart Sync reads the line items and quantities and hands them to PorterBase as an In Cart purchase order.
Straight into the workflow
The synced order lands in Purchase Orders as In Cart. Mark it Ordered when the vendor confirms, then receive against it like any other order.
Reads only what it needs
The extension reads cart and product information only on supported vendor pages, and only when you use the cart-sync workflow. It does not collect browsing history.
Expiring access
Signing in issues an authentication token that expires after seven days. Treat it like a password — never paste it into an email or a support message.
Installing it
1Install PorterBase Cart Sync from the Chrome Web Store.
2Pin the extension, open it, and sign in with your PorterBase account.
3Open a supported vendor site and build your cart as usual.
4Use the extension to sync the cart — it appears in Purchase Orders as In Cart.
What it can access
Cart Sync requests only the permissions the cart-sync feature requires. Vendor page content is used to build your purchase order and nothing else — it is not used for advertising, and it is not sold. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy and on the Security page.
