Technician workflow

Admin and Technician views

Users who manage the business and are also configured as field technicians can switch between Admin and Technician views. Technician-only users open directly into the mobile-focused field experience.

Ready for Pickup

1. 1Open Ready for Pickup to see reservations still held at the warehouse.
2. 2Review the part, quantity, warehouse, and Job ID before collecting it.
3. 3Select Mark Picked Up after the physical handoff. The whole reservation moves at once.

My Parts and Jobs

• My Parts shows inventory currently held by the technician.
• Jobs groups assigned job parts by Job ID.
• Mark Used records the quantity installed. The remaining quantity stays assigned.
• Undo Used is available when an installation was recorded incorrectly.
• Van Stock is general technician inventory and does not require a Job ID.

Return unused stock

If a collected part is not needed, return it through the admin inventory workflow so its warehouse, condition, and transaction history are recorded. If it has not been collected yet, use Return to Ready for Pickup only to undo a mistaken pickup state.
